We’re a group of optical nerds
We're infuriated by the apathy we often see in the current care system and we’re on a mission to change that by offering solutions and advice when no one else will.
We got into this business to help patients by helping the doctors that help them. At this point, we’ve been in it long enough to have grown disenchanted with the current “standard of care.” That is: too many practitioners don’t do anything more than they have to. They look for a diagnosis. If they find one, they name it and send the patient on their way with some boilerplate advice. If they don’t, they shrug and refer them to another specialist.
Because of this, many patients don’t get actual help for their condition. At best, they have a name for it and some vague information about what to do about it.
We aren’t okay with that. At all. So, we’ve set our sights on changing that. We believe that every patient deserves the best care possible, and we want to help like-minded professionals like you deliver that.
Chadwick Optical has been around since 1980.
Since then, we’ve become more than a specialty lens lab with low vision devices. We’ve become a trusted advisor and partner to private practitioners and VA hospitals around the country. We’re passionate about what we do, have a little too much fun doing it, but are very serious about the work.
