Fitting Peripheral Prisms for Hemianopia is a continuing education workshop that has been running at AAO for many years. Doctors will receive thorough training in the concept of utilizing the peripheral vision as a means for visual field expansion. After the educational portion, doctors immediately have the opportunity to apply what they’ve learned. They will be able to fit and work with hemianopic patients who volunteer to be a part of the workshop.
